The high resilience HR foam used in ONSEN® products is an open-cell polyurethane foam in a Super Soft variant. It was selected through a design thinking process. The choice was based on conclusions developed during consultations with experts, as well as through designing, prototyping, and testing products using it.

This type of foam is characterized by high resilience. It also has unique properties that provide excellent dynamics, enhancing the functionality of mattresses or pillows. Moreover, our foams guarantee proper support for the body and spine, especially when sleeping on the side or back.

Advanced ventilation is possible due to the open-cell structure of the foams. It significantly differs from popular mattresses or pillows that mainly use memory foam, which causes overheating and sweating for many users.

The durability of our foams means that ONSEN® high resilience mattresses and orthopedic pillows come with up to a 15-year warranty. Additionally, we offer the possibility to return the order within 100 days and receive a full refund.

As scientific research results indicate, as many as 93% of the human population sleeps on their back or side. After analyzing the Polish market, ONSEN® specialists concluded that there is no orthopedic pillow available that would serve both these positions while maintaining the physiological alignment of the spine.

This led our team consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, a psychologist, designers, and technologists to create a universal, functional model of an orthopedic pillow. This model was then subjected to the prototyping process. After a long period of testing prototypes and making necessary adjustments, we managed to create designs of the best orthopedic pillows: Yoko, Asana, Enso, and Hiro.

Each of the ONSEN® orthopedic pillows allows for comfortable and healthy sleep on the side, as well as on the back. They differ in their construction due to their adaptation to different body types.

ONSEN® orthopedic pillows should be used by both people who do not experience any symptoms of cervical spine diseases, but place great importance on prevention, and those suffering from flattened cervical lordosis, discopathy, or spinal degeneration. 

All orthopedic pillows, as well as pillowcases and sheets, are offered in the Skin+ version. The Skin+ fabric is a innovative product enriched with nanocapsules containing the patented probiotic Bacillus indicus PD01.

The action of the probiotic Bacillus indicus PD01 softens the skin and has proven anti-aging effects. The nanocapsules filled with the probiotic Bacillus indicus PD01 are embedded in the fibers of the fabric and open upon contact with the skin.

The effect of the bacteria Bacillus indicus PD01 is the production of natural lycopene, which belongs to carotenoids. These protect the skin from excessive exposure to sunlight and at the same time maintain a higher level of moisture. Additionally, its antioxidant properties allow for slowing down the aging processes of the skin.

Orthopedic pillows, pillowcases, and sheets made with Skin+ technology result in significantly smoother, rejuvenated, and brighter skin. For many people, it works like an anti-wrinkle cream, addressing issues related to excessive drying and flaking of the skin.

Nanocapsules with the probiotic Bacillus indicus PD01 remain in the Skin+ fabric for up to 20 washes at temperatures up to 40 °C.
